Mind as Friend
In many Buddhist traditions, meditation is the first practice taught, and this practice is a foundational practice that continues as other knowledge is clarified. Calm abiding meditation is grounded in the historical teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha over 2,600 years ago. This tradition of meditation is found in many of the branches of Buddhism that grew worldwide.
